Man Utd eyeing Leonardo Bonucci

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has suggested that Manchester United are hot on the trail of AC Milan stopper Leonardo Bonucci.

It is no secret that Jose Mourinho plans to reinforce his back line in the summer and he has identified the Italy international as his top target.

Leonardo Bonucci shocked everyone when he joined AC Milan in a €42 million deal from Juventus last summer, but he has since struggled for form at Stadio San Siro.

The 31-year-old made 34 league appearances, scoring 2 goals, but he couldn’t help the Rossoneri secure Champions League qualification.

Bonucci, therefore, may be interested in a chance of scenery, with Manchester United expected to come forward with an official proposal in the coming weeks.
