Man Utd in mega money bid for Thomas Muller

Manchester United are readying a staggering proposal for Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller, according to Sport1.

The Red Devils are reportedly hot on the trail of the Germany star and they have opened talks with the Bavarians with a view of luring the forward to Old Trafford this summer.

Sport1 even went to suggest that Manchester United were prepared to offer mind-blowing €82 million for Muller.

While Bayern Munich are clearly not too keen on selling their prized asset, said proposal may prove too good to refuse.

The Red Devils are in need of attacking reinforcements given that both Robin van Persie and Javier Hernandez are tipped to leave in the coming weeks.

And it looks as though Manchester United will not settle for anything less than a world-class forward, with Muller having scored a total of 21 goals in all competitions last season despite being used on the right wing.
