The Daily Mail is reporting that Manchester United are stepping up their efforts to sign Brazilian forward Malcom from Bordeaux.
Jose Mourinho has reportedly been impressed with the 20-year-old winger and he is determined to bring him to Old Trafford.
Man Utd have been in talks with Bordeaux as they plan to buy Malcom in January and allow him to spend the remainder of the season on loan with les Girondins.
With the Brazilian having recently signed a contract extension, Bordeaux reportedly value their star player at £50 million, whereas the Red Devils are ready to pay around £33 million.
Chances are that les Girondins will have to lower their demands if they want to do a deal, despite the fact that Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, AS Roma and Wolfsburg are also keen.
Malcom has been in fine form this season, scoring 7 goals and setting up another 4 in 18 Ligue 1 matches.
