Premier League giants Manchester United are stepping up their efforts to recruit Fulham starlet Moussa Dembele, London Evening Standard can reveal.
The 19-year-old has been in scintillating form this season, and chances are he will soon be leaving Craven Cottage for a top club.
According to London Evening Standard, Manchester United are in pole position to win the race for the talented forward.
The Red Devils are already negotiating a deal with Fulham and it looks as though the Cottagers will have no option but to cash in on their prized asset in January.
Namely, the youngster’s contract at Craven Cottage is due to expire at the end of the season and everything suggests he will reject the latest offer for a new four-and-a-half-year deal.
Dembele was slowly introduced into the senior team over the last couple of years, before he exploded this season to score 8 goals in 18 Championship outings.
