Portuguese daily newspaper Record has learned that Manchester United have been showing interest in Eintracht Frankfurt winger Mijat Gacinovic.
The Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho was spotted in the stands as Austria defeated Serbia in a 2018 World Cup qualifier, and latest reports suggest that the 22-year-old was on his radar.
It was Nemanja Matic who recommended Gacinovic to Mourinho and the Portuguese tactician in turn made a check on the winger in Wien.
The Serbian midfielder managed 2 goals in 3 World Cup qualifiers, but he was far from impressive in the Austria game.
Meanwhile, Gacinovic started 6 Bundesliga fixtures for Eintracht Frankfurt this term, and it is believed that Bayern Munich are also keen on his services.
