The Independent has learned that Manchester United have been showing interest in Real Madrid star Toni Kroos.
The Red Devils expect los Blancos to launch a fresh assault on David De Gea, and Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to sanction the transfer under one condition.
According to reports, the Portuguese manager wants Real Madrid star Toni Kroos to move in the opposite direction.
It is no secret that Mourinho is in the market for midfield reinforcements given that veteran midfielder Michael Carrick is set to retire at the end of the current campaign.
And with Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini failing to impress, the manager is planning an ambitious bid for Toni Kroos.
However, Real Madrid are highly unlikely to agree to such a deal considering that the German midfielder is a key member of the squad at Santiago Bernabeu, and he has become famous for incredible consistency over the years.
