Manchester United are showing interest in Benfica youngster Umaro Embalo, according to Manchester Evening News.
The Red Devils have been closely monitoring the talented forward and they look ready to make their move.
Manchester United officials are aware that their RB Leipzig counterparts have met with Benfica to try and close the deal for Umbalo, meaning they may be forced to act as well.
The Red Devils have scouted Embalo several times this season and they believe he has the potential to develop into a quality footballer.
The problem is that the 16-year-old is valued at £16 million, while he is also followed by Barcelona and Real Madrid.
