La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that Manchester United have joined the chase for Torino hotshot Andrea Belotti.
The 22-year-old has been in stunning form this season, and he currently leads the Serie A goalscoring charts with 10 goals in 11 appearances.
Having also netted three times for Italy in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, Belotti has quickly emerged as one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards.
The latest reports suggest that Manchester United have joined the long list of suitors that includes Arsenal, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Everton, but it is unlikely that the talented striker will be leaving any time soon.
Namely, Torino are ready to offer the Italy international a major pay rise, while reportedly including a €50 million release clause in the deal.
Nevertheless, if Belotti continues the rich vein of form in the remainder of the season, we will not be surprised to see one of his suitors match Torino’s asking price.
