La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Manchester United are showing interest in Serie A stars Dries Mertens and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Red Devils had one of their scouts present as Lazio and Napoli squared off at the weekend, and it has been revealed which players were at the centre of his attention.
Napoli winger Dries Mertens has emerged as a top target for Manchester United after a thoroughly impressive season.
The Belgian has been operating in a centre forward role this season, scoring a total of 26 goals across all competitions, and with his contract due to expire in just over a year, the Red Devils are closely monitoring the situation.
At the same time, Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Lazio starlet Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who quickly developed into an important player for the Bianconeri.
The interesting thing is that the midfielder’s brother Vanja Milinkovic-Savic spent some time at Old Trafford, but never got a chance to shine and recently agreed a summer move to Torino.
