The Times has learned that Manchester United have decided to offload defender Luke Shaw at the earliest opportunity.
The Red Devils are prepared to listen to offers for the 22-year-old, who has utterly failed to prove his worth at Old Trafford.
Shaw was relegated to the reserves as Jose Mourinho was unhappy with the player’s attitude in training, and he has yet to make his first Premier League appearance of the season.
It would appear as though the Red Devils have finally decided to cash in on the talented footballer, and it remains to be seen whether there will be any takers.
Man Utd would also consider a loan deal, but only if an obligatory buy-out clause is included.
Luke Shaw had joined the Red Devils two and a half years ago in a £30 million deal from Southampton, and he has since featured in 32 league fixtures.
