Manchester United are badly in need of a starting right-back for the next season. Ashley Young is not good enough and Diogo Dalot is talented, but will need plenty of time to reach his full potential. And the Devils have been looking at several players in that position.
According to Daily Mail, the club now feel that Thomas Meunier is a better option to pursue than Aaron Wan-Bissaka. It was reported that the PSG right-back could cost less than 30 million pounds, which is definitely much lower price than what Crystal Palace will be looking to get for Wan-Bissaka.
Although Wan-Bissaka has been top of the Red Devils’ list of targets in their search for a new right-back, Palace are determined to hold on to him and are pricing United out of a move. Man United feel Meunier, whose contract at PSG expires in 2020, will be a more affordable option and they are already planning to make a bid for the Belgian.
