Managers Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Dean Smith disagree on the penalty given to Manchester United against Aston Villa (Video)

Manchester United continued their great run on Thursday evening by beating Aston Villa away 0-3.

However, the decision of referee Jonathan Moss and VAR to award United the penalty which opened the scoring has caused quite an uproar. Villa defender Ezri Konsa challenged United’s Bruno Fernandes for the ball just inside the box, and the contact between the two players came when Fernandes landed on Konsa’s ankle after jumping to avoid the tackle. Penalty or not?

The Premier League afterwards admitted that the decision to award the penalty was wrong.

Take a look at the incident itself first.

And here’s what the two managers had to say after the match.
