Manchester City know a win against Aston Villa tonight will see them go two points ahead of second-placed Liverpool going into the last day of the Premier League season. Liverpool had their chances dashed after surrendering a 3-0 lead to Crystal Palace, and are now praying Villa do them a solid this evening.
The Midlands outfit are surprisingly on course to complete the league double over Manuel Pellegrini’s side after beating them 3-2 at Villa Park. But City have been formidable at the Etihad this season that will see Villa’s chances greatly lessened.
