High-flying Newcastle United host title contenders Manchester City in the most interesting clash of Sunday’s programme, with plenty of fireworks expected at St James’ Park.
The Magpies are hoping to get their top 6 bid back on track after the back to back defeats to Arsenal and West Brom, but they have some problems ahead of the high-profile match.
With key defenders Fabricio Coloccini and Mathieu Debuchy missing, it is hardly surprising they are 9/2 to shock City and win the game, although the hosts will be boosted by the return of Tim Krul and Yohan Cabaye.
Manchester City, on the other hand, aim to prove their travel sickness is in the past now and they have a chance to climb to the Premier League summit at least for some 28 hours.
And even if boss Manuel Pellegrini expects a difficult game, his side look a good bet to claim maximum points at 13/20.
“Newcastle played very well against Arsenal and only one or two weeks ago they were fighting for first position in the table.
“We are in a very good moment, but we are just in the middle of the season. We are just preparing a good season.”
The visitors will have Yaya Toure, Jesus Navas and Micah Richards back in contention, but Sergio Aguero, Stevan Jovetic and Jack Rodwell remain sidelined.
