Manchester City 1/8 to beat Feyenoord in Tuesday’s Champions League battle

Competition: Champions League

Market: Manchester City to beat Feyenoord

Odds: 1/8 @ Bet365

The Champions League is back this week with a massive round of fixtures as every side is looking to keep their Champions League dream alive. With four games gone though, many teams are running out of time to pick up points, while others are looking to maintain their superb form despite the fact they have already qualified for the next round of the tournament. With this in mind, two teams with vastly differing form play one another, with Manchester City hosting Feyenoord.

Manchester City have been perfect this season. After four games they have won four times, scoring 12 goals and conceding just three times. Impressively, they have twice beaten Napoli, who are themselves unbeaten in Italy, with ease. With Shakhtar Donetsk just three points behind them though, a victory over Feyenoord is vital as they look to go through top of the group. Pep Guardiola’s men are looking to improve upon the struggles that City have had in the Champions League, as they were consummately beaten by Monaco in last season’s competition, with the English side now having real aspirations of winning the whole competition.

By contrast, Feyenoord have been struggling this season. After four games, they are yet to pick up a point, losing all of their games. Along the way, they have only scored three times, conceding 12 goals too. Something needs to change for the side, but a trip to play Manchester City in England is likely to only hold a lot of pain for them. With this in mind, we are backing City to win with odds of 1/8 from Bet365.
