Competition: Capital One Cup
Market: Man City to win against Newcastle
Odds: 3/10 @ Bet 365

Manchester City are hoping to put their poor Premier League form behind them with a win against Newcastle tonight in the Capital One Cup fourth round. The victors will be into the quarter-finals of the competition, just two games away from the final at Wembley.

Newcastle will provide a threat to City tonight, despite manager Alan Pardew likely to rest a selection of his first-team players. The Magpies have won their last two games in the Premier League, beating Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur, but United’s past record against City isn’t too impressive.

Pardew’s men have lost their last 10 games against the Sky Blues, and as a result Bet 365 are giving odds of 3/10 for Manchester City to emerge victorious in the Capital One Cup fourth round. Manuel Pellegrini’s side are the holders after seeing past Newcastle’s rivals Sunderland in the final last season.

They are hoping to replicate their antics this campaign, and are confident of continuing their winning run against the North-East outfit.
