Liverpool and Manchester City lock horns in the Premier League just days after their Capital One Cup final meeting, and the Sky Blues are hoping they can repeat the feat and come out on top against the Merseysiders to get their title bid back on track.
City won in the final last month, and picked up an impressive victory away in the Champions League days before, so they come into tonight’s clash with Liverpool in good form. Their results in the Premier League have left a lot to be desired, but that could all change at Anfield this evening.
Liverpool have been horrifically inconsistent under manager Jurgen Klopp. The Reds have picked up just eight points from a possible 18 in the Premier League, while failing to win four of their last six on home soil. They are currently enduring a three-game run without a win in their own backyard.
As a result, a resurgent Manchester City will be looking to take advantage, and William Hill are giving odds of 9/5 for the Sky Blues to deliver.
