Competition: Premier League
Market: Man City and Liverpool to draw
Odds: 2/1 @ Bet 365
Manchester City welcome Liverpool to the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, in a game that could see the two sides taking a share of the spoils. City are favourites with home advantage, but Liverpool have a fantastic record against top-six clubs and certainly pose a threat given their impressive start to the season.
As for the hosts, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are currently fourth in the Premier League table with seven points from three games this season, coming off the back of wins over Brighton & Hove Albion and Bournemouth, while drawing with Everton. City could go top of the table with a win, but Liverpool are no slouches and excel in these important games.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side find themselves second in the table, level on points with City, having drawn their opener against Watford, before enjoying consecutive wins over Crystal Palace and Arsenal. With City drawing in their only home game, while Liverpool have drawn their only away game, Saturday lunchtime’s clash could be a stalemate.
The two sides may be content to play out a draw, rather than risk defeat by trying to win against a fellow title rival, and Bet 365 are giving odds of 2/1 for City and Liverpool to take a share of the spoils.
