Competition: Premier League
Market: Man City and Southampton to draw
Odds: 7/2 @ Bet 365

Manchester City face Southampton this weekend at a time where they are at their most fragile. Manuel Pellegrini’s men have been suffering on and of the pitch. Results have spiraled in recent weeks, while the injury list has continued to grow, and such problems could come to a head on Saturday against the travel-happy Saints.

The visitors would certainly settle for a share of the spoils at the Etihad Stadium, and will be combative and organized to ensure they don’t give any cheap chances away. City are missing a lot of influential players for the Saints fixture, but they have the deadly Sergio Aguero spearheading the attack, and he showed in their last league game that he hardly needs a half-chance to find the back of the net.

City are in poor shape, however. The Sky Blues have picked up only one league win in their last four, most recently suffering a 4-1 defeat at home to Liverpool. With Southampton unbeaten on the road in the Premier League this season, while having won two of their previous three away outings, they aren’t to be underestimated.

While the hosts have already lost twice at the Etihad in the division, Southampton won’t be underestimating the title-chasers, and would be more than happy to just avoid defeat despite City having many absentees. As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 7/2 for the two sides to play out a stalemate this weekend.
