Manchester City aware of Ederson stance on his future

Manchester City are aware that Ederson could leave for the Saudi Pro League in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has reported that City, who won the Premier League title last season, are aware that the Brazil international goalkeeper has been in talks with clubs in Saudi Arabia since May.

According to Romano, City are still waiting for opening bids from Al Nassr. The Citizens are open to selling Ederson if he wants to leave. Pep Guardiola’s side will make Stefan Ortega their number one goalkeeper.

Romano wrote on X: “Manchester City are aware of Ederson in talks with Saudi Pro League clubs since May and keep their position: Ederson can leave, in case he wants to.

“City still waiting for opening bid from Al Nassr/Saudi clubs. City’s first GK if Ederson leave will be Stefan Ortega.”

Ederson has made 250 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The City goalkeeper has kept 112 clean sheets and given three assists in those games.
