Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been complaining about the match schedule for Premier League clubs being extremely hectic for a while now.
Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, with whom Guardiola had a great rivalry for years, notoriously made the same complaint a number of times during his time at Anfield, but there were coaches in the English top flight talking about that particular problem long before either of them arrived.
