French daily newspaper L’Equipe understands that Manchester City have joined the race for Lyon starlet Nabil Fekir.
The talented midfielder has been in excellent form this season and his impressive performances in Ligue 1 did not go unnoticed.
Just a week ago, Le 10 Sport reported that Arsenal were keeping close tabs on the 21-year-old footballer and L’Equipe has now claimed that Manchester City are keen as well.
Nabil Fekir is another quality footballer to have come out of Lyon’s youth academy and he signed a new long-term contract back in June.
Lyon chiefs hope they can keep hold of Fekir as well as Alexandre Lacazette for at least a couple more years, but that will be no easy task.
The attacking midfielder started no less than 14 league fixtures this season and scored 6 goals in the process, while he was handed his France Under-21 debut back in October.
