Premier League giants Manchester City are ready to attempt a stunning swoop for Real Madrid star Isco, despite the Spanish international having recently signed a bumper deal, according to the Guardian.
Pep Guardiola’s side are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table, five points ahead of the chasing pack, after a sensational start to the campaign. The Citizens have scored a remarkable 35 goals in their ten league games this season and are stacked with talented players in every position.
The addition of Isco to this already frighteningly impressive side is certainly an exciting prospect, but the Manchester club will have to shell out some significant cash in order to secure the Spaniard’s signature. Real Madrid recently managed to tie their talented midfielder to a deal that would, in theory, keep him in the Spanish capital until 2022.
However Manchester City are not known for being intimidated by high price tags and the addition of Isco, who registered 10 goals and nine assists last season in La Liga, would catapult Guardiola’s side to the top level of world football.
