Manchester City are on the verge of completing a move for PSV Eindhoven defender Riechedly Bazoer, The People understands.
According to the same report, the Citizens have won the race with a number of major European clubs to sign the Dutch starlet.
The young defender is set to join the Premier League outfit when he turns 16 in October 2012.
The Netherlands Under-16 international is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Europe and he is currently playing for PSV youth team.
Bazoer is a towering centre-half, who is already six feet tall, and he will now be given an opportunity to hone his skills in a very competitive environment.
While staying true to their strategy of buying world-class players, Manchester City have recently turned their attention to talented youngsters from all over the world and few other players are expected to follow in Bazoer’s footsteps.
