Manchester City confident in Bellingham race

According to a recent report from ESPN, Manchester City are growing more confident that they can win the race to sign Jude Bellingham.

For the longest time now, it’s seemed far more likely that Liverpool – or perhaps even Real Madrid – would be the ones to sign the Englishman. Alas, City are starting to really up the tempo, and in doing so they’re making themselves readily available to swoop in and bring the youngster to the Premier League.

Despite still having his whole career ahead of him, Jude Bellingham is already one of the most intriguing prospects in world football. He continues to defy all forms of logic with Borussia Dortmund and if they can sustain the forward momentum they currently have, there’s every chance they will end the season as Bundesliga champions.

City, meanwhile, still have work to do on their end to retain the Premier League title, but either way, going to the Etihad is a pretty appealing idea to any young player.
