According to a recent report from Goal, Manchester City are contemplating a move for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.
While he may have been injured since the start of December due to a hamstring problem, the Norwegian has still been able to score 10 goals in eight appearances in the Bundesliga so far this season. City may have a strong core of attacking options at their disposal but for the time being, the jury is still out on whether or not they need to add to their ranks.
In terms of finding the perfect fit you would have to suspect that City are definitely going to pursue the idea of a move for Haaland, if only because his goalscoring prowess is hard to ignore. Pep Guardiola also wants to bring Lionel Messi over to the Premier League, and if he put them together, that could be a dream pairing for the club.
