Manchester City don’t want to sell Bernardo Silva to Barcelona

Manchester City do not want to sell Bernardo Silva in the summer transfer window amid interest from Barcelona, according to 90min. The report has claimed that the defending Premier League champions have told Silva that they do not want to let him leave despite interest from former La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Barcelona.

90min have reported that Silva’s representatives have indicated to City that the 28-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, would be open to a move to Barcelona this summer. Silva is one of the best players at City and is a regular in manager Pep Guardiola’s side when he is fit and available.

Silva has scored 29 goals and created 37 big chances in 167 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The Portugal international scored eight goals and gave four assists in 33 Premier League starts and scored three goals and provided three assists in 11 UEFA Champions League matches last season.
