Manchester City are keen on signing Eberechi Eze from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers. City, who won the Premier League title last season, are looking for a replacement for Julian Alvarez, who has joined Atletico Madrid, and the Citizens have reportedly identified Eze as a potential target.
Eze has been on the books of Palace since 2020 when he joined from Queens Park Rangers. The 26-year-old can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger. Eze has established himself as one of the better attacking players in the Premier League.
The England international has made 112 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. Eze has scored 26 goals and given 15 assists in those games. Football Transfers has claimed that although there are concerns about Eze’s £60 million price-tag, City are stepping up their pursuit of the winger and “are enthusiastic about the prospect of potentially acquiring the England international.”
