Manchester City are interested in signing Mikel Oyarzabal from Real Sociedad next summer, according to Fichajes. It has been reported that the Premier League champions are in talks with Spanish club Sociedad over securing the services of the 24-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger.
City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly a fan of the Spain international. However, Sociedad are not desperate to sell the 24-year-old and will not entertain any offers that are below his release clause of €75 million.
Oyarzabal has scored four goals in five La Liga appearances for Sociedad and have also played once in the Europa League so far this season. The Sociedad no.10 scored 11 goals and gave eight assists in 30 La Liga starts last season, and scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists in 36 league starts in 2019-20.
