Manchester City are interested in signing Declan Rice from West Ham United in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that the defending Premier League champions are looking for a long-term replacement for Fernandinho, and that manager Pep Guardiola is a huge fan.
Rice and his agents have reportedly told West Ham that this is the right time for him to leave the London club. The Hammers have opened talks with the 23-year-old, but they are unable to pay him the £250,000-a-week salary that he would get from bigger clubs.
West Ham star Rice has made 29 appearances in the Premier League so far this season, scoring one goal and providing four assists in the process. The 23-year-old has scored two goals in six Europa League appearances so far this campaign.
