Manchester City eye Zaha bid

Premier League champions Manchester City are considering a £50m move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, according to the Daily Star.

Pep Guardiola’s side were confirmed as title winners after neighbours Manchester United suffered a surprise loss to bottom-of-the-table West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon, and they are already looking ahead to next season.

Zaha has been one of the stand-out performers for the Eagles this season, though their safety is yet to be secured as they sit just six points above the drop zone with four games to play.

Since returning to the South London club from Manchester United in the summer of 2014 he has racked up one hundred and forty appearances in all competitions, scoring twenty-three goals.

Three of those goals have come in Palace’s last two games, including a brace in Saturday afternoon’s 3-2 win over fierce rivals Brighton and Hove Albion at Selhurst Park.
