Manchester City go after Mbappe

According to a recent report from Sport, Manchester City now lead the race to try and sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.

City manager Pep Guardiola is said to be “in love” with what he can do on a football pitch and regardless of what happens in the next few weeks, he wants to try and pursue a deal – whether it be during the upcoming summer transfer window or within the next few years.

Manchester City look set to knock PSG out of the Champions League after their first leg encounter which could throw a spanner into the works, but if anything, that could show Mbappe what he’s missing out on.

Pep is a tactical mastermind and playing under him would be an honour for most players. Plus, he almost certainly wouldn’t be the only piece of business City do during the summer, which is even more exciting for fans around the world.
