Manchester City go after Tonali

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester City recently sent a scout to watch Brescia youngster Sandro Tonali. The 19 year old has been compared to the likes of Andrea Pirlo in the past, with many dubbing him the next big thing in European football. City haven’t exactly been shy in the past about going after young talent that they want to bring into their growing dynasty, and Pep Guardiola is known for being particularly ruthless in that regard.

Tonali has been a name that has been on the lips of many clubs around Europe, as you can expect, and it seems as if it’ll take quite the offer for Brescia to agree to sell.

That shouldn’t exactly come as much of a surprise, given the nature of the current market.

Now, we have to wait and see whether City really commit to the idea of making it a reality.
