Manchester City are interested in making a move for RB Salzburg forward Patson Daka with the hope being he can be a replacement for Sergio Aguero, Manchester Evening News reports.
At the age of just 22, Daka has been able to make quite a name for himself with Salzburg. Tottenham are one of the many other clubs to be taking a look at the youngster but if City are serious about announcing their intention, you can bet they’ll be the frontrunners.
The idea behind replacing Aguero is certainly an interesting one but when you consider his overwhelming success over the years at the Etihad, it seems odd to think that they would let go of him – even with his plethora of injury problems.
Daka is a viable option for City and as we look ahead to the January transfer window, he could be the ace in the hole that they’ve been hoping for.
