Premier League giants Manchester City are stepping up their efforts to sign Sevilla hotshot Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to The Telegraph.
The Citizens boss Manuel Pellegrini is showing interest in the Polish midfielder with a view of luring the 25-year-old to Etihad in the summer.
Tomorrow’s Champions League clash against Sevilla, where home win pays 4/6, will be a perfect opportunity for the Chilean coach to take a closer look at his target.
It is important to note though that Arsenal have long been following the Poland star, who has a £21 million release clause inserted in his deal.
There was recently talk of Sevilla planning to further increase said amount, which means that the Premier League rivals may have to act fast if they want to secure the midfielder’s signature.
Grzegorz Krychowiak enjoyed an excellent start to his career in Spain, scoring 2 goals in 40 La Liga appearances for los Rojiblancos.
