Premier League giants Manchester City are considering a move for Portugal hero Rui Patricio, A Bola can reveal.
It is no secret that new manager Pep Guardiola does not hold current number one Joe Hart in high regard and he has been linked with a move for Barcelona shot-stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
According to A Bola, Man City have now turned their attention to Sporting CP star Rui Patricio, who had a key role to play as Portugal secured the Euro 2016 title.
However, while the Lions are holding out for €20 million, the Citizens will start the bidding at €7 million, which is way below the player’s current value.
Rui Patricio, 28, has so far resisted temptation to leave Estadio Jose Alvalade, but a big club move may be finally on the cards following his Euro 2016 heroics, as he produced a string of great saves to help Portugal lift the coveted title.
