Manchester City are interested in signing Dani Olmo in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. Barcelona have failed to register Olmo for the second half of the season, which has led to City, who won the Premier League title last season, showing interest in the Spain international.
Olmo can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger. The 26-year-old joined Barcelona from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2024. The attacker has scored five goals in seven starts and four substitute appearances in La Liga and has scored one goal and provided one assist in two starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League so far this season.
City are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 34 points from 20 matches, two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea. Meanwhile, Barcelona currently find themselves third in the La Liga table with 38 points from 19 games, five points behind leaders Real Madrid.
