Manchester City are interested in signing Toni Kroos on a free transfer in the summer of 2023 when his current contract with Real Madrid runs out, according to Sport. The report has claimed that defending Premier League champions City are wiling to pay the German star €14 million per year as salary.
Kroos has not yet decided what he will do about his future. The 32-year-old will become a free agent next summer, and defending La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Madrid are relaxed about the situation and is not worried about it.
The German has been on the books of Madrid since 2014. During his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, Kroos has won the La Liga title thrice and the UEFA Champions League on four occasions. The midfielder won the Bundesliga thrice and the UEFA Champions League once with Bayern Munich.
