Manchester City could be set to make a sensational move for Jack Wilshere, according to the Mail Online.
The England international is currently on a season-long loan with Bournemouth after falling out of favor with parent club Arsenal.
City boss Pep Guardiola has been an admirer of the England international since his days as Barcelona manager, after the midfielder dominated in a clash between the Spanish giants and the Gunners in 2011.
Since arriving on the South Coast, Wilshere has racked up twenty-one appearances in all competitions while he has played one hundred and fifty-nine times for his parent club, scoring twelve goals.
Internationally, he has been capped thirty-four times for his country, scoring twice and was part of the squads that attended the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil and the European Championships in France two years later.
Both Arsenal and Manchester City turn their attention to the FA Cup this weekend, with City favorites to win the competition at 10/3.
