TalkSPORT has learned that Manchester City are keeping close tabs on Atletico Madrid midfielder Oliver Torres.
According to the same source, the Citizens had the player watched at the weekend as Atletico Madrid shared spoils with Deportivo at Riazor.
Torres entered the pitch as a second-half substitute but didn’t have a lot of time to showcase his qualities.
The 18-year-old is, nonetheless, widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects to have come out through club’s youth academy since Fernando Torres.
Oliver Torres has been promoted to the first team set up this season and has so far made 5 substitute appearances in La Liga.
Manchester City will continue to follow the player’s development and they might decide to make a move before his price increases.
The talented midfielder could be farmed out on loan next season in order to gain some first team experience.
