Manchester City are closely monitoring the progress of Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski, according to talkSPORT.
The Citizens are scouting a number of players with a view of further reinforcing the squad next summer, and the Polish starlet is one of the footballers on their hit-list.
Piotr Zielinski, who has represented Poland at various youth levels, was snatched by Udinese in 2011 from Zaglebie Lubin, and he wasted no time in impressing the coaching staff at Friuli.
The 19-year-old featured in nine Serie A matches for the Zebrette last season, while he has made two substitute appearances this term.
Meanwhile, he has even broken into the national team set-up, scoring 2 goals in 3 2014 World Cup qualifiers for Poland.
He is widely regarded as one of country’s most talented footballers, and while Udinese see him as a hot prospect for the future, they would have no problems cashing in on him if the price is right.
