According to a recent report from Manchester Evening News, Manchester City could make a move to sign Erling Haaland as a replacement for Sergio Aguero.
Yesterday, the Argentine forward put out a tweet confirming that he’d be leaving City at the end of the season after 10 years of service to the club. Ever since then fans have been wondering what he’s going to do next – but they’ve also been wondering who the club could bring in to replace him.
It’ll come as no surprise that Haaland is one of the names on the shortlist given his unbelievable rise to prominence in recent years. He is quite easily one of the most exciting strikers in world football and while coming in as a replacement for someone like Aguero is always going to be a tough thing to do, everything up to this point tells us he’ll be able to handle the pressure just fine.
