According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Manchester City have entered the race to sign Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.
The former Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton forward has enjoyed a strong spell over in Italy with Inter, to the point where he is once again on the market as one of the most talked-about goalscorers on the planet.
Even as he prepares to turn 28 it feels as if he’s still right in the midst of his prime and given everything he’s been able to accomplish up to this point, that has to be seen as an exciting development.
Lukaku knows and understands the way English football works and he knows what he has to do in order to succeed there. Sure, he may prefer to stay in Serie A for the time being, but he may also be inclined to go back and try to win the Premier League with the dominant City.
