Manchester City are ready to sell Ayermic Laporte to Al Nassr in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic. The report has claimed that Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr have made an offer for Spain international central defender Laporte, and that City, who won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League winners, are ready to cash in on him.
The Athletic has added that Laporte himself is open to moving to Al Nassr this summer. The Spaniard struggled to play regularly for the Citizens last season, and he will also face competition from Josko Gvardiol. The centre-back joined City from RB Leipzig this summer.
Laporte has made 121 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The defender has scored eight goals, given three assists, and kept 50 clean sheets in those matches. The defender made only 12 appearances in the Premier League last season.
