talkSPORT has learned that Manchester City are hoping to lure Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben to Eastlands.
The squad at Etihad is set to undergo major changes after a trophyless season and a number of high-profile players are expected to arrive.
According to talkSPORT, Manchester City are stepping up their efforts to sign Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben.
The Dutchman is no longer considered a first team regular at Alianz Arena and it is believed new Bayern boss Pep Guardiola is prepared to let him leave.
A return to England is definitely an option for the former Chelsea player, although Galatasaray and Inter are also keen.
Arjen Robben has spent last four years at Alianz Arena, clocking up 77 Bundesliga appearances and scoring 44 goals.
He has, however, started just 10 Bundesliga games despite the fact that Toni Kroos was not available for selection during the past couple of months.
