Manchester City set for big summer

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Manchester City are planning a big recruitment drive during the summer transfer window – in addition to the purchase of Ferran Torres and Nathan Ake.

There is a determination within the club to bring in a whole host of fresh stars as they prepare to try and reclaim the Premier League title from Liverpool. The goal seems to be for them to finish up their business before the new campaign gets underway on September 12th, ensuring that they don’t have a whole lot of time to get things done.

City are bound to have some serious finances behind them and nobody is denying that, but some wonder whether or not the overturning of their European ban has caused a poor ripple effect. Now, the expectation is that no matter what they do, they will not be prosecuted for it – which is a pretty dangerous position.
