Manchester City show interest in Nicolo Barella

Manchester City are showing interest in signing Nicolo Barella from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has added that Liverpool and Arsenal are also keen on the Italy international midfielder.

Barella is one of the best midfielders in Italy and has been on the books of Inter since 2020. The Italian star helped the Nerazzurri win Serie A in 2020-21 and 2023-24. He also helped Inter reach the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2023 and the final of the UEFA Europa League in 2020.

City, who have won the league title in England for the past three seasons, are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 79 points from 34 matches, a point behind leaders Arsenal, who have played 35 games. Meanwhile, Inter have already won the Serie A title this season.
