Bayern Munich are interested in signing Stefan Ortega from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Bayern wanted to sign Ortega in the summer of 2022 and remain big admirers of the goalkeeper.
However, Manchester City are in no mood to let Ortega leave in the summer transfer window. The report has claimed that the newly-crowned European champions will hand the goalkeeper a new contract worth £85,000 per week and will keep him at the club.
Ortega joined Premier League champions City in the summer of 2022 on a free transfer after leaving Arminia Bielefeld. The 30-year-old German made three appearances in the Premier League, two in the UEFA Champions League, three in the Carabao Cup and six in the FA Cup for the Citizens this past season.
