Champions League winners Manchester City beat Europa League winners Sevilla in this year’s edition of the UEFA Super Cup. The game was settled through a penalty shootout, after Cole Palmer cancelled out Youssef En-Nesyri’s opener in regular time.
The first spot-kick of the shootout was taken by Erling Haaland, Premier League’s new record goalscorer.
