It has truly been a magnificent season for Erling Haaland, even more so given that his age and the fact that it’s his first in the Premier League. The Norwegian striker has set a new league record for a 38-game season, with 36 goals and three games still left to play, overtaking Mohamed Salah’s 2017/18 season when the Egyptian stopped at 32.
Apart from being a terrific striker, very passionate about playing for the same club as his father, the 22-year-old has shown many times that he’s a very decent human being as well.
This young boy will obviously remember the Goodison victory for the rest of his life.
